This photo was taken a couple of days ago. I'm actually much farther along, and will post a new photo soon.I used a twisted stitch 1x1 rib instead of the prettier (but, for me, less practical) edge. Other than that, I haven't found reason to make any changes. The yarn is Lorna's Laces in Watercolors, and I'm using KnitPicks circs for Magic Loop (easier to carry in my purse than DPNs, which I love).
One thing I have noticed--and it's not bad, just something to keep an eye on--is that this lace is very stretchy! The book "warns" about this, but I had no idea it would stretch as much as it does. I might tighten my stitches a bit or switch to a slightly smaller needle. (So many US #1 needles are actually US #1.5...you can either check the European mm size or use a needle sizer to find out if your's are true "1s" or not).

Love the colors and how they knit up in the pattern. I have overcommitted my knitting and haven't been able to start knitting from the book, but I have some Lorna's Laces in my stash and this could be the pattern for it.
The yarn you have chosen is lovely.
