Anniversary Socks Question

Does anyone else think there is a mistake in the pattern as written? Specifically, in rows 5 and 9, it seems as though the LC2 should be K2 to continue the pattern of the cuffs which places a cross every 4 rows (which an LC2 in 3, 7, 11 would accomplish).

This pattern originally appeared in the September/October 2003 issue of PieceWork magazine. PW ran a correction in a later issue which still appears on the PW web site. Unfortunately, that correction didn't get transferred to the new layout for the Favorite Socks book.

On page 82, near the bottom of the first column in the instructions for the leg, Rnds 5 and 9 should read as follows:

Rnds 5 and 9: K16, *k2, p1, k1, yo, k2tog, yo, k2tog, k1, p1; rep from * 2 more times, k2, k16.
