Undulating Rib in Progress

I'm following the Yarn Harlot's lead and only doing the "undulating" part for a few inches. The yarn is Valley Yarns Franklin from WEBS.

This sock is my current "walk and knit" project, but on today's walk I had to stop knitting because the heat and high humidity made the yarn stick to my fingers. Can't wait for the weather to change!

Oh! I really like that! And I JUST bought some yarn that would be beautiful in. Walk and knit, huh? I'd like to know more about that. Do you have a blog?

They really look cute. I almost started with these but am knitting the mock wave cable instead. I am beginning to regret my choice.

Such a fantabulous idea!! only doing the undulating rib for a few inches. I really wanted this to be my next pair of socks but was scared I wouldn't finish because of all the cabling. Now I have renewed faith. thank you! what yarn did you choose?

The yarn is Valley Yarns Franklin, from WEBS, handpainted by the Kangaroo Dyer. I picked this colorway up in the store and I think it might have been one of a kind--I don't see the same colorway on the WEBS site.

It's very soft. I could swear there's silk in it (but there isn't) because it has a subtle sheen reminiscent of silk.

Uh oh. I am starting the mock wave cable tonight, yummy new handpaint, really excited until I read your post. Advice?

On the walk and knit, I recently got a Nancy's knit knack's sock bag. Love it. Take it hiking!!! It can be worn around the waist or over the shoulder.

This sock is definately next on the list, love the color and the shorter rib.
