I began these socks before there was an official knit-along and had them ready for my friend Norma's birthday in July. The socks are knit in Knit Picks "Dancing" yarn -- a blend of cotton and merino, similar to "Sockotta" ... Norma was a bit disappointed that I photoed on the sock blocker, rather than her foot (she wanted to pose!) -- oh, well, next pair!
I am also knitting another pair with the same yarn, except the waving lace border is done in pure white Sockotta...will post when they're finished
