I began the Waving Lace Socks last night on size 2 needles. I have used Louet Gems with size 2 before (Ann Budd's Diagonal Rib Socks) and they came out perfect. This time however I was not happy with the stitch definition. So I ripped it out and began again with size 1's and an extra 8 count repeat. The pattern is easier than I expected and coming along quite quickly.

They are looking great! I love the color too. I am still waiting for my book to arrive but seeing someone get started really gets me excited!
