Here they are, so pretty! And yet, so much more rugged-looking, and so much longer-seeming, than anyone else's. I don't know how to account for it; I used Fleece Artist Sea Wool in Amethyst, on #2 addi Turbos for the leg and instep, #1 for the sole and toe. The wool perhaps explains the robust texture, but the length (not that I mind it) baffles me. Thanks for letting me show off!

Embossed Leaves
Here they are, so pretty! And yet, so much more rugged-looking, and so much longer-seeming, than anyone else's. Beautiful job! I think that they are a great length.
very pretty!!! good idea using smaller needles for the sole...i ll do that on my next pair, too. thanks for sharing that!
My Embossed Leaves also turned out very long, despite the fact that I used exactly the yarn and needles specified in the pattern. My gauge also seemed to be fine...
Perhaps the other pictures were taken from strange angles that make things look shorter.
