Go with the Flow and Embossed Leaves

hi i am silke from germany! i am very excited to join this blog and i love all your beautiful socks you ve knitted!
with two kids i dont have much time to knit and there are a lot of other projects waiting to be finished in that yarnshelf of mine. when i got the book i couldnt decide which pair to knit first, so i picked some patterns i liked a lot and bought the yarn for them. (in germany the yarn isnt as expensive as in the states)
my son picked a yarn color and i started knitting the Go with the Flow socks. what a beautiful pattern. the yarn i am using is Jawoll superwash in a shade close to the original one used in the book. we recently went on vacation in portugal and i took my sock everywhere we went: on the beach, in the car, while my husband was driving...awsome. i got one sock done there and now that i am knitting the second one, it s nice to remember where i was while working on the same part of the first sock. it s a little bit like a second vacation.

last night i couldnt resist and started the Embossed Leaves in Jawoll superwash in green. i feel like this one doesnt grow as fast as Go with the Flow did, but it is definately worth the time it takes to knit. i love it!!

i have got to go now, thanks for letting me join this kal.
