Favorite Socks Knitalong: binding off the dream socks

I'm totally confused by the instruction to pass the front stitch over. Can anyone help?

Traci said...: I think I figured it out--by "back" and "front" she wasn't referring to their placement on the working needle, but referring to the original needle they came from.
