I'm very excited to be a part of this knit along. Before I joined, I knitted the "Uptown Boot Socks" using Lorna's Laces in "gold hill". I had a lot of fun knitting this pattern.

I'm making the same pattern in almost the same colored yarn!
Except I dyed mine myself with Kool-aid :)
When I saw the picture it was like looking at mine because I'm almost at the same point.
I'm talking about the waving lace :)
great job, the colorway is beautiful and I love the way you posed your feet. Being part of the KAL is dangerous. seeing your "uptown Boot socks" makes me want knit them. However, I have about 8 socks in front of them waiting to be knit.
These are really beautiful. Have you ever tried Rowan's Cashsoft? I had a discussion about it at my LYS with the ladies who work there just yesterday. They use the same yarn you are (Soft?) and they had never tried Cashsoft. If you haven't, you must. It is fabulous for a pair of anklets or footies (just one ball with leftovers if you do the footies, one ball with less leftovers if you do anklets). Thanks for sharing these- both are beautiful! :)
