Thank you all for leaving comments with suggestions and for your sympathy for the delay in receiving the book from amazon.de. If I had bought it myself, I would have cancelled the order by now and used a different online retailer. However, a good friend of mine ordered it from my wishlist as a present for me, so there is nothing I can do but wait....
I love the socks I see so far and am already debating which ones to knit for myself....
