Meida's socks

Here is another pair of Meida's socks, done in Koigu KPPPM:

The pattern is very simple and easy to work, and I actually enjoyed the heel construction very much; I think it fits well on my feet. I am also becoming a big fan of the "flowerbud toe" (pulling the yarn through the remaining 8 stitches), so much easier and neater than kitchener stitch! The only alteration I made was lengthening the foot; the 14 repeats suggested in the pattern were not enough for my size 7 feet.

Here's a pic of the heel:

Beautiful socks! The color is perfect with the pattern and you've done such a nice job with your knitting.
I really enjoy working with Koigu and it's nice to see more and more projects using the wonderful yarn. I believe I'll be giving this pattern another look as well!

Lovely! I'm thinking of knitting these socks as well and am so glad to see what they look like when knit with a variegated yarn since I was planning to use it for mine.

Thanks so much for posting your pics and tips about this pattern. Just yesterday I looked at Meida's Socks as a possible pattern to use with my Panda Cotton. Thanks for the info!

These are beautiful. Nice choice on the yarn - the colors are great for this pattern (and probably yummy in just about any pattern).
