Boot Socks finished!

I think I am going to really like these socks! They are a little longer than normal, and I thought about shortening them, but decided against it. I am now glad that I did not. I think they will be a nice change from the norm. I did not make any changes to the pattern at all. They are made from Regia, Apricot I believe is the color, although I have lost the ball band.

I am totally enjoying everyone's sock photos. They are all so beautiful - makes me want to knit them all!! So many socks - so little time!!

Thanks,

So lovely ! Hey, I was interested to buy that color, now that you have knit something with it, I believe it'll be into my shopping-cart!

Your socks are beautiful! I love that pattern and was just admiring it last night.
Does the pattern pull in a lot? The 72 stitch cast on seems like a lot of stitches when I normally cast on 64. If the cables pull in a lot, however, it makes sense.

Again, wonderful socks!

Yes Beth,

It was my experience that the cables drew the fabric in to a degree. I originally started on a size smaller needle, but had to frog and move up one size. The fabric has a bit of stretchiness and bounce to it. It makes a very nice sock - albeit a slow knit....

Good luck!
