Uptown Socks

Finished the Uptown Boot Socks at last. These were knit with Lang Jawoll yarn on 2.75mm needles.

This pattern had many interesting techniques in it that were new for me....i.e. decreasing down for the heel flap and toe. One think I did not like was measuring the length of the gusset to determine when the foot length had been reached. I prefer to knit an exact length correlating with the recipient's foot length. The pattern lends itself to stretching so perhaps it is a one-size-fits-all.... I hope so as the sock is not for me!
